  1. A cool fun fact was my parents getaway car was used in the Godfather. My 2015 dress was a ballgown. Alfred Angelo Disney collection inspired by Cinderella's glass slipper (the specific number was 205)

  3. My grandmother married in the 70's in a beautiful red dress. My mother did the same but a short red version. I am not planning in marrying but if i would it would be in a red dress

  4. My wife wore my grandma’s 1951 prom dress for our wedding ❀ It is yellow with white flowers. Gorgeous! My wife and the dress. A few years ago, she was offered $2,000 for it! Refused. Our daughters are going to wear it on their wedding day.

  5. In 1947 my mother at her wedding wore a simple jellow and white knrr length silk dress and a cream coloured overcoat. All items she could wear in other occasions. No money to spend on a dress that would be used for a day only.

  6. My grandma got married in the late 1950s or very early 1960s. I have her wedding dress, and it definitely fits that description. It's a bit poofy, with a crinoline sewn into it. My great grandmother got married before white wedding dresses became popular in North America, so it's red. My mom got married in the 1990s, and her dress was long but somewhat simple.

  7. Looking at this, my dress could possibly be from the 90s. It has poofed shoulders, long lace sleeves with v-shaped wrists, so much beading , and a proper train that made it a little hard to walk in. I took it in to get it tailored and the lady added a finger loop so I could sweep it off the floor princess style for the reception πŸ₯Ή.
It used to have a zipper lower back and fabric-covered buttons on the upper back, before the tailor changed out the zipper for lace-up to help it fit me better.
I figured it was probably from the 80s because they're known for big sleeves; since the sleeves of your eighties dress look almost just like mine did, I'm guessing late eighties to early nineties.

Edit: I'm guessing my wife's could be from the fifties, which would explain the yellowing of the fabric. It looks almost just like yours, except it has more solid fabric! (Yours has a lot of floaty lace; hers has nearly as much and in the same spots, but you can see it has sturdy fabric underneath). The sleeves end at the elbow, though.
