Aside from making time for exercise, eating a proper diet, and getting enough sleep each night, there are other things we need to consider and incorporate into our life to help us recover from burnout. Some things to consider are how long of a break or vacation we need to take to give our brain time to heal? Have you ever come back from a vacation and felt totally rested? Or maybe you come back just as stressed out. Think about this for a bit, and also consider the type of break you need. Maybe you need to sit around and do nothing for 7 days, or maybe you like to get outside and hike or bike, or perhaps you prefer to see the world and experience different cultures. Take some time to consider what types of breaks you need and how often you need them.

I work in retail so if I take breaks I get fired… Burnout is mandatory in retail.
It's depressing tbh.
Do you have any advise for student to get rid of burnout stage?
Deep tissue massage as reccomded by the video worked great.
Eeeesh I’ve had to take 2 one year long sabbaticals to recover from proper workaholism. I’ve learned that if you don’t take time for your health, your health will force its way to make you recover – usually in the form of sickness. 😮
I was tired or being tired for too long. Then I lost my job. Realised I had already had a breakdown but none around me asked how I was.
I take slow life now. Trust me guys it does get better once you realise you need to slow down sometimes.
If burned out take a break, wow, so brilliant
#degoogle is a good way to avoid burnout
The fact this is sponsored by them is comical
2:50 😂 That's my whole life. I got a lot of rearranging and reassessing to do.
I need A LOT of doing nothing. I'm frickin fried.
I just wanna grind, bathe, cook and bury my head in my bed
Workaholism- is much more than burnout folks
This video is so true. Sometimes we need a break. Even when it's not always.
Thank you!
Here are my short time break activities:
1. Playing with my dogs.
2. Massage
3. Skin care including facials and treatments
4. Long drives (mindful driving)
5. Mindful walking to some new place.
But I had 1 month breaks. Doing nothing but binge watching or mobile games. This is unhealthy.
Do nothing for 7 days is the PATH
Do it
I can't even open my book from last 10 days…I just don't want to..I've been isolated too… LoL.. it's permanent
I decided to take 1 hour long break In the middle of my working hours
To recharge and work with passion
Watching this while skipping school bc of burnout ❤😅
Have I ever come home from a vacation rested? Nope not once.
am really burnout right now and i try to let it go out but is now working is hard
Ramalama Ding Dong
I tried “rest days,” journaling, even going off-grid for a weekend. It helped… for like 24 hours. Then I was right back in the fog. Burnout recovery isn’t about taking a break it’s about rebuilding your system piece by piece. Reset Your Body and Mind by Morgan Lane gave me exactly that: a structured 30-day reset that didn’t overwhelm me. If you’re tired of trying to “feel better” and ready to actually reset, this is where it starts.
Does money for all of you grow in the yard? What do you mean "take a break" 😓
I remeber a few years I had a graveyard shift job were I was working from 6 pm to 6 am go home and sleep for 3 hours and be completely replenished. Now, I don't feel like doing anything.
There is not enough free time with full time slave work, you cant even exercise if you re badly burn out. It can take 5 years or so before you re symptom free. Problem is people is used as robots to work too much aka "full time" its bull shit.
Im burn outlander I've come to realised it too late now I suffering I can't study good like back in the past so everyone take care
Frequent and guilt free breaks are the key to sustained focus and productivity
Usually takes about 2 years away from the cause of burnout in order to cure it
No weekend or holidays for a medical student. I'm a mature medical student who is graduating and doing the licensing exam. I cannot afford time to be burnt out. The only thing that drives me forward is that I like the studies. I get rewarded as a good exam experience and results. I'm taking a small break here and there.
Burnout from later diagnosed, misdiagnosed, masking, people pleasing, miseducated (self included), health conditions to recognizing what is going on in glimmers. Clarity comes with time. I need daily restorative rest. Although I still feel as though I am stuck sometimes. My go tos are LEGO Sunflower Club in the making. I am looking for connection with Self and others who get it. LEGO helps with self advocacy, life goals/skills, rehabilitation/burnout recovery, ot/pt/st. I am grateful to be able to reset and be here in this moment. It takes a shit ton of time to return to a new baseline and I hope I am on a healthy track. LEGO too partnered with Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Program I am looking to collaborate and learn with others how to extend this in the US with an adult neurodiverse program designed and developed by, for, with and to other steam focused Sunflowers. 🌻
Anyone interested in research and mentor/menteeship opps with an environmental (earthing/spacing coexistence) therapy p2p working on our ladders and zones with LEGO play and work? I could use some real time ongoing experience with help.
These tips are for easy burn out !
how do i deal with burnout from humanity? everywhere i go i get starred at, and i dont mean a quick glance, i mean, prolonged , insaine starring. i dont know what to do, im not a famous person at all, yes i can do abit of singing, but at this point in my life, wherever i go there are stupid people, either being way too loud, or just idiots. i dont have alot of money to go on holidays, but ive reached a point where i cant go on like this anymore.
I burnt out again for the second time in my life 🙄🤦🏻♂️💔. First time it happened I owned a junk removal company. For years on end I was stressed out of my mind. One day in the shower I was stressing over a bunch of stuff when I felt a strong tingling sensation on the top of my head between the two half’s of my brain. I walked out of the shower scared. For the next 7-8 months I was terrified to leave my house unless it was business related. Thankfully I made a full recovery. Now I’m burnt out again but not has bad. Socializing gives me really bad anxiety. This sucks cause my friend wants me to be CEO of one of his companies and I can’t even hop on a zoom call 🙄🤦🏻♂️. Yesterday investors agreed to fund millions to the project. Oh lord help me get soon quick. If anyone has any advice I’d greatly appreciate it.
Now it's Ramadhan so our office doesn't have lunch breaks. Which means it's a straight 8 hours of working without eating or drinking. On a normal day at least I get to have smoke breaks. Even though I already left the religion I still had to pretend like I'm fasting, for a reason. It's beyond exhausting.
I need an one year induced coma honestly
I am so burned out that i am getting physical symptoms. I must take more breaks and even walk away for a week just for my own sanity.
I have 2 jobs…..only one free day…..I have no other choice.
I'm a homeowner, and I don't work a typical 9-5 job, but taking care of the house and my pet and myself is so much to handle sometimes that I do get burnt out. I find what helps me is making my space cozy and warm and tidy so that I can enjoy a bunch of downtime on the days I get to do nothing but rest and relaxation!
Unrealistic. Can't take a break. Too much to do. What do I cut out? Showers, groceries, meals, bills, vet appt, dr appts, etc..
This was supremely unhelpful and surface level.
