As far as Brown in the summer goes I had a cute brown cotton top from a top name store that had white in it, I loved wearing that top with a pair of white linen pants in the Summer. A coworker remarked on the style and color and then added, “very Fall-ish”. I was shocked!
I have a bunch of weddings coming up in 2026. I dislike wearing dresses but I might if I can find something that looks good. Could you do a video on this topic for women in their 50’s, 60’s and beyond? Thanks

Great video Kay! I will be passing (mostly) on the utility looks, and have so much trouble imagining myself wearing striped track pants. On the other hand, I will be leaning way in to the scarves and color blocking. It feels like fashion is getting saner for my sensibilities than some of the previous years. I was never a fan of distressed denim or statement denim. Looking forward to this season. Thanks for your guidance!

I really like the way you’ve categorized these trends. It helps me understand what I’m seeing and how to use my current pieces. After your track pants video, I bought two pairs. But I’m seeing a whole lot of flowered prints in this spring, everywhere. I found myself looking for a tailored floral pants suit! Not practical but I love the look. Boden has one. JMcLaughlin is all prints. Love to see a video on prints. ! Thank you and you look ready for spring.
The track pant trend looks very adaptable, I will be on the look out for a pair. I think the long line down the leg will be very flattering on.
The other thing I am looking forward to trying is the color block combo of sapphire blue and chartreuse, not sure if it’ll be to much of a contrast to my medium contrast coloring, but I will give it a try on.
